Opus One Solutions Announces Contribution to Develop National Microgrid Network

Toronto, CAN, September 18, 2015 – Opus One Solutions Energy Corporation (Opus One), a leader in intelligent and integrated solutions for the smart grid, announces that it will receive technical and business advisory services, as well as a financial contribution of up to $150,000 from the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP).

This assistance from NRC-IRAP will support in part, an innovative research and development project that will create a National Microgrid Network, deploying state-of-the-art control systems to monitor, analyze and optimize microgrids that unlock value for residential homes, communities and integrated electrical grids. The primary objective of the project is to apply Opus One’s expertise and know-how of utility and large microgrid operational systems to a highly distributed residential microgrid network, and deploy this across Canada. The technology will be applicable to all housing options including detached homes, townhouses and condominiums.
